Online master’s degree programs through JHU AAP offer working professionals incredible flexibility to learn from industry experts while maintaining a better work and life balance.

Within the Fall 2024 application, you will be asked to indicate whether you intend to study “Online” or “On Campus”.

About Applying to an Online Program

Nearly every master’s degrees within the Advanced Academic Programs portfolio is offered online. Please visit your specific program’s Admission and Application Requirements page here:

Application Deadline

Applications for Online Programs are accepted year-round for fall, spring, or summer term starts, so, there is no application deadline. It is recommended you submit your application materials at least four-to-six weeks before the desired start date. International students should apply at least 3 months before the semester starts.

Application Decision Timeframes

Applicants to Online Programs who have met the Admissions Criteria and submitted a complete application, including all of the required supporting documents and the application fee, will be reviewed on a rolling basis. This means admissions decisions are issued as an individual review is completed.

A tuition deposit is not required to hold a seat upon acceptance into an Online Program.

Regarding Student Visa Support

International students are welcome to apply to become students within JHU AAP’s Online Programs. However, should a student’s visa requirement circumstances change away from learning online, that student will need to reapply for admission into the On-Campus Programs.
