In this role, Stringham is responsible for ensuring students receive the support they need during their academic journey. Her work includes assisting with field trips and travel courses, planning events, providing student resources, responding to student emergencies, and working with AAP faculty and staff across different platforms.

Stringham joined AAP in student services in January 2022. Prior to joining AAP, she worked in the Housing and Residence Life departments of a variety of educational institutions, including George Washington University, George Mason University, Salisbury University, and Montclair State University in New Jersey.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in writing seminars from Johns Hopkins University, Stringham earned a master’s degree in higher education administration from George Washington University.

As an Academic Adviser, Salazar is responsible for building supportive and personalized relationships with students and advising them on university policies and procedures, program and degree requirements, and academic matters.

Prior to joining AAP, Salazar was an adjunct language instructor at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She also has held roles as an ESL instructor for Monterey Adult School, a naturalist for Mount Hermon Outdoor Science School, and an interpreter for California State Parks.

Salazar earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Seattle Pacific University and a master’s degree in teaching English as a second language, with a specialization in international education management, from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.

As an Academic Adviser, Savice is responsible for building supportive and personalized relationships with students and advising students on university policies and procedures, program and degree requirements, and academic matters.

Prior to joining AAP in 2022, Savice was a student success adviser for Walden University, where she defined and implemented proactive strategies to help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals. She has worked in higher education for more than 14 years and has held roles as admissions officer in the College of Nursing for Standard Healthcare Services, directory consultant for BloomNet, re-entry coordinator for Florida Career College, and assistant director of admissions for The Art Institute of Jacksonville. She began her career in social services and regularly volunteers in the community.

Savice earned an associate degree in social science from Essex County College, a Bachelor of Arts from Kean University, and a Master of Business Administration from DeVry College of New York.
