To manage unforeseen circumstances, students will be given a grace period of two weeks after the registration deadline to enroll in AS.999.800 (see dates below). Students are encouraged to begin the process as early as possible due to the multiple approvals needed to enroll in the course.

  • Submit CPT request to OIS at least one week before the first day of the semester
  • Be enrolled in AS.999.800 at the start of the semester in which the internship will take place, and no later than two weeks after the registration drop/add deadline (the fourth Friday of the semester)

After June 13, registration in AS.999.800 will not be permitted under any circumstances. You should register for this term if your internship falls between May 15 and August 18.

Late requests will delay internship or practicum authorization or prevent registration in the required practicum course. Students who do not meet the deadlines in the process as outlined above will not be able to participate in the course for that term and should make timely preparations for a subsequent term.
