Congratulations to new Writing Program instructor Brett Martin for winning his third James Beard Award.

Writing Program faculty member Susan Muaddi Darraj wrote a commentary on the statistics recently published by the Cooperative Children’s Book Center, illustrating the lack of diversity in the publishing world. 

Vanasco's memoir was both chosen for a full book review, as well as included in TIME's 100 Must-Read Books of 2019.
