Valerie DiVito

Dr. Valerie DiVito earned her PhD in Biochemistry and Cellular & Molecular Biology at Georgetown University before going on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in the Division of Brain Dysfunction and Blast Injury at the Walter Reed Army Institute. Currently, she serves as the Civilian Deputy Director of the Military Operational Medicine Research Program in Fort Detrick, Maryland. Her previous roles include Director of the Environmental Health Program at the U.S. Army Center for Environmental Health Research and Acting Director of the Systems Biology Collaboration Center at USACEHR. Dr. DiVito currently teaches Molecular Biology and Systems and Integrative Physiology at AAP.
