Dr. Tyshia Wellman has been a lecturer at Johns Hopkins since 2019, focusing on epigenetics. She received a BS in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2011 from Purdue University. She completed her PhD studies in Virology at Harvard University in 2018 with a research interest in Human Papillomavirus and cancer. She resides in North Alabama on a small farm where she homeschools her 3 children and enjoys gardening and raising animals with her husband.
