Dr. Robert Horner earned his PhD in Biology from the Johns Hopkins University, where he also completed a post-doctoral fellowship. He has conducted research at the University of Texas at Dallas and at M.I.T., where he earned his undergraduate degree and was a McDermott Scholar. Dr. Horner’s first teaching experience was serving as a graduate teaching assistant in the Johns Hopkins University Department of Biology, where he is currently a senior lecturer and teaches Biochemistry, Cell Biology Lab, and Foreign Gene Expression Lab. His teaching experience also includes hosting lab sections for the Center for Talented Youth’s summer sessions. In addition to serving on the admissions committee for the BS/MS in Cellular and Molecular Biology, he is the academic advisor for all candidates in the program. Dr. Horner currently teaches Molecular Biology at AAP.
