Robert Bird

Robert Bird is a Data Scientist with a PhD in Political Science from Stony Brook University. In addition to teaching Programming and Data Management courses at John’s Hopkins University he also works as a research scientist at the Gallup Organization where he works on various data analytics projects.
Robert’s methodological interests include research design, advanced regression techniques, time series analysis, text analytics, and machine learning. In addition to his methodological research, Robert is also interested in substantive political science research specifically in the area of media and politics.
