At Johns Hopkins, Kelly Ann Jacobson is a lecturer for the MA in Writing program.

Jacobson is the author of two queer young adult novels, Tink and Wendy, which won the Foreword Reviews Gold Medal for YA, and Robin and Her Misfits. She also is the author of the forthcoming literary speculative novel Weaver.

Her chapbook An Inventory of Abandoned Things won Split/Lip Press’ 2020 Chapbook Contest. Her short pieces have been published in Boulevard, Southern Humanities Review, Daily Science Fiction, Iron Horse Literary Review, The Texas Review, Gargoyle, and many other literary magazines.

In addition to teaching Completing the Novel for JHU, Jacobson is an assistant professor of English at the University of Lynchburg.

Jacobson received her PhD in fiction from Florida State University in 2021.
