Judy Nguyen

Dr. Judy Nguyen is a molecular biologist and research consultant. She earned her PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology with a concentration in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. As a doctoral candidate, Dr. Nguyen conducted research revealing cellular activity that could lead to biomarker discovery in glaucoma. In 2017, she helped found the Readiness Acceleration and Innovation Network (RAIN Incubator), a non-profit which supports life sciences research and technology in Tacoma, WA. Dr. Nguyen was responsible for creating and overseeing lab operations, incubator activities, and student engagement programs, including managing research students, a synthetic biology iGEM research team, and K-12 outreach. Dr. Nguyen currently teaches Risk Assessment and Management at AAP.
