At Johns Hopkins, Jaime Green is a lecturer for the MA in Science Writing program.

Green is a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in The Atlantic, The Nation, Popular Science, Slate, Catapult, Astrobites, and elsewhere. She is the series editor of The Best American Science and Nature Writing and author of The Possibility of Life: Science, Imagination, and Our Quest for Kinship in the Cosmos.

She received a Master of Fine Arts in nonfiction from Columbia University and was formerly the associate editor of Future Tense.
