Eric Lindgren

Dr. Eric Lindgren teaches courses in statistical analysis, survey research and urban analytics. Dr. Lindgren has extensive experience teaching and applying statistical methods, including working for a survey research center, consulting, as well as publishing multiple quantitative articles on term limits, city elections, political parties, and gerrymandering.
Before joining the program at Johns Hopkins, He taught at American University in Washington, D.C., Redlands University, and Whittier College and most recently at the University of Oregon as the Carroll Professor of Urban Studies 2015-2017.
Dr. Lindgren graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in political science, before earning his MS and PhD from the University of Oregon.
