Emil Wang

At Johns Hopkins, Emil Wang, a food and drug attorney, is a Program Coordinator and senior lecturer in the MS in Regulatory Science and the MS in Biotechnology programs.
Outside of Johns Hopkins, Wang is chief engineer of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, Rear Admiral, Assistant Surgeon General, and works at the FDA as a senior regulatory counsel and senior advisor for manufacturing and regulatory policy. His previous FDA experiences include case expert, division director, branch chief, investigator, and scientific reviewer. He has also practiced food and drug law at a private law firm.
Wang received an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.
