Alice McKeon is a writer, historian, producer, and political communications strategy professional. After many years in the political realm, McKeon now writes, produces, and edits books, documentaries, and other projects focusing on history, politics, and current affairs. She is currently working on a memoir with a former senior Democratic elected official.

In her tenure in political communications, McKeon worked for a variety of campaign committees, think tanks, and non-profits, including the Arizona Democratic Party, the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC), Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). She also served as vice president at WMG, a DC-based public affairs firm, where she provided crisis and communications strategy for nonprofits and Fortune 50 companies. In 2013, McKeon collaborated with DLC founder and CEO Al From on his memoir and forgotten history, The New Democrats and the Return to Power. In 2016, she was associate producer on the documentary Crashing The Party.

McKeon received her bachelor’s degree with honors in art history from The College of William & Mary. She lives in D.C. with her husband, Dave Solimini, their sons, Nicholas and Peter, and their dog, Toby Zeigler.
