Alexandra Kron-Daleo
Lecturer
At Johns Hopkins, Alexandra Kron-Daleo is a lecturer for the MA in Museum Studies program, where she draws on more than 15 years of professional experience at the intersection of information management, project management, and cultural heritage technology. Her expertise centers on the research, evaluation, and strategic implementation of technology solutions for cultural institutions, with a particular focus on digital asset management, digital preservation, and collection management systems.
Through a career that spans both the private and public sectors, Kron-Daleo has worked extensively with arts and culture organizations to provide strategic recommendations around technology selection and implementation, improve workflows and processes, and develop digital strategies and data management plans. As Digital Operations and Collections Information Analyst at Balboa Park Online Collaborative, she partnered with a diverse range of institutions to advance their digital operations through hands-on collaboration and applied expertise.
Kron-Daleo currently serves as Community Engagement Manager at Terentia, where she supports cultural institutions through the adoption and implementation of new technologies by developing educational resources and facilitating meaningful learning opportunities. In addition to her role at Terentia, she teaches courses in digital preservation and digital curation for GLAMP professionals through Henry Stewart, with a focus on cross-industry standards and best practices.
Kron-Daleo holds a BA in Art History from California State University, Fullerton, and an MA in Museum Studies and Digital Curation from Johns Hopkins University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
