At Johns Hopkins, Dr. Bridget Cole Williams, MD, is a lecturer for the MS in Regulatory Science program as a highly accomplished board-certified family physician and medical cannabis specialist with a robust background in holistic medicine.
As the founder and former CEO of Green Harvest Health, Dr. Williams pioneered a practice that blended traditional family medicine with the therapeutic benefits of medical cannabis. Her holistic approach to healthcare has made her a trusted leader in the cannabis community, and she has educated countless cannabis enthusiasts by teaching at the Cleveland School of Cannabis, Morehouse College, Oaksterdam, and speaking at national conferences.
Dr. Williams is also a best-selling author of the Courage in Cannabis book series, which brings attention to the personal and medicinal impacts of cannabis use. Her contributions to the field extend to her role as an Advisory Board member for Forbes Health, where she continues to advocate for broader access to medical cannabis.
In addition to her educational and advocacy work, Dr. Williams recently completed a year as the host of “Reclaim Your Wellness with DrBridgetMD” on the Black Star Network and maintains an active presence on YouTube. Her latest venture, Blossom Bar, a mobile-infused mocktail bar, integrates her medical expertise with wellness-focused alternatives like cannabinoids and adaptogens, further demonstrating her commitment to holistic health and wellness.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan before obtaining her medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. She completed her residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic where she was honored as Student Researcher of the Year. She later served as Chief Resident during her time at the Cleveland Clinic. After 13 years as staff at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Williams transitioned to private practice, driven by her passion for patient-centered care and integrative medicine.
