At Johns Hopkins, Veena Ghorakavi is a lecturer for the MS in Bioinformatics and MS in Biotechnology programs.
Ms. Ghorakavi earned two Bachelor of Science degrees at Texas A&M University in College Station. One of the degrees from the dual degree program was in computer science; the other degree was in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics. Ms. Ghorakavi completed her Master of Science with thesis in Bioinformatics at Johns Hopkins.
Ms. Ghorakavi works as a software engineer in high performance computing.
