At Johns Hopkins, Camila Angulo is a lecturer for the MS in Data Analytics and Policy program.

Angulo’s teaching and research interests focus on political economy of development, criminal governance, public opinion, and quantitative methods. Her research has been published in academic journals such as World Development, the Journal of Politics in Latin America, Governance, Colombia Internacional, and the Wisconsin Law Review.

Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, Dr. Angulo was Assistant Professor at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City, where she taught courses on political economy, applied statistics, and econometrics.

Angulo earned her PhD degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.
