Lakshmi Sai Karuna

At Johns Hopkins, Lakshmi Karuna serves as a senior lecturer, program coordinator, and lab manager for the MS in Biotechnology program.

An alumna of the same program, she specializes in microbiology and has contributed to cancer research at the University of Maryland’s Translational Core Lab. Karuna’s industry experience includes working as a Food Microbiologist at Baltimore Spices, and she has taught for several years at the Community College of Baltimore County.
