DJ Lee
Lecturer
At Johns Hopkins, DJ Lee is a lecturer for the MA in Writing program.
Lee, a writer, scholar, and artist, is also a regents professor of English at Washington State University. She has published over forty essays and prose poems, the memoir Remote: Finding Home in the Bitterroots, and eight scholarly books, including The Land Speaks. A hand papermaker and photographer, Lee often combines image and text. Artist residencies include the Arctic Circle Artist Residency, Women’s Studio Workshop, and the Wilderness Art Collective.
She has a Master of Fine Arts from the Bennington Writing Seminars and a PhD from University of Arizona.
