Elena Mastors

Dr. Elena Mastors has been an academic administrator for over a decade and has extensive experience in leadership, teaching, and curriculum and faculty development. She also served as an associate professor in the National Decision Making Department of the Naval War College, and held various senior intelligence and policy positions in the Office of Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Dr. Mastors focuses on political psychology as it pertains to intelligence, conflict, terrorism and political leadership. She has authored a number of articles and books on these subjects.
Dr. Mastors earned her Ph.D. in political science from Washington State University. She lives with her family, and a menagerie of pets in the Seattle area.
