Simon Kelow is a scientist in the structural and computational biology group at Prescient design, recently acquired by Genentech. He did his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in the lab of Roland Dunbrack where he worked on methods for unsupervised learning of protein structure towards antibody design.

Before earning his PhD, Simon studied Physics & Astronomy at Northern Arizona University where he spent one year doing mathematics research as part of the NASA Space Grant Consortium. He is passionate about teaching fundamental concepts about proteins that are exciting and stimulating to students.
