Join MA in Government program Alumni Tom Manatos and Sarah Lovenheim as they share how they leveraged the knowledge and skills amassed at JHU to secure impactful posts in the government/political sector. They also will offer advice for those contemplating a career move or seeking a new landscape in the field.
Manatos, founder of the Tom Manatos Jobs website, hosts one of the top job lists on Capitol Hill and in Washington, D.C., helping thousands of people secure government and political jobs.
Lovenheim currently serves as Vice President of External Affairs at AARP and previously worked as the Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She will share her path from graduate school to Presidential appointee and how she uses evidence-based communications strategies to move the needle in important initiatives that have national consequence.
