Stephen Tokarick

Stephen Tokarick is a lecturer and teaches international trade theory in the Applied Economics program. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, he worked as economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for about 27 years. In that position, he conducted research on various topics related to international trade. Prior to joining the IMF, he held a position as research economist at the U.S. International Trade Commission. He has published articles using economic models to assess the effects of international trade policies in various countries in peer-reviewed journals. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
