Sandeep Ravindran

Sandeep Ravindran is a freelance science journalist based in Bethesda, Maryland. He has written about life sciences and technology for publications such as TIME, The New York Times, Smithsonian, National Geographic News, PBS Nova Next, The Scientist, Nature, and Wired. He is also the Vice President of the National Association of Science Writers. Sandeep is a lecturer in Advanced Academic Programs at Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches graduate science writing courses. He holds a PhD in microbiology and immunology from Stanford University and studied science communication at UC Santa Cruz.
