Rhonda Jones

Dr. Rhonda Jones is the Chief of the Workforce Planning Branch of the Environmental Protection Agency and President of the Board of Maryland CASA Association, a nonprofit organization that advocates for children in foster care.
She holds a Doctorate of Education in Human Resources Development from George Washington University, an MBA, and a B.A. in Psychology. She has held both the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and International Public Management Association for Human Resources Certified Professional (IPMA-CP) certifications and was part of the Expert Panel on Workforce Diversity for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for two years.
Dr. Jones’s work experience includes 20 years in management and HR in both private and public industry, covering all facets of human resources, including staffing, benefits, EEO investigations, performance management, organizational and leadership development, and HR metrics and analytics. In addition to presenting at several professional and academic conferences, Dr. Jones has taught in-person courses in Hong Kong and Singapore, and has been teaching online for more than 18 years. She published an article based on her dissertation research and authored two book chapters on talent management.
