Dr. Renny Babiarz is Vice President of Analysis and Operations for AllSource Analysis, where he manages geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) analysis projects on security and artificial intelligence (AI) issues for government, non-government, and commercial customers. Renny has 8 years of experience in the field of GEOINT analysis, with specializations in Asia, weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and AI applications. He has a PhD in political science specializing in China’s nuclear weapons program (Johns Hopkins University), an MA in Asian Studies specializing in China (University of Hawaii at Manoa), and certificates in Chinese language and GEOINT analysis. Additionally, Renny worked in public service as a GEOINT analyst for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and has private sector research experience with Science Application International Corporation (SAIC) and AllSource Analysis. He has published academic research in Comparative Strategy and policy-oriented work for University of Nottingham’s Asia Research Institute, and the Jamestown Foundation’s China Brief. Renny’s current research utilizes GEOINT analysis to better understand China’s emergent sea-based nuclear deterrence operations in the South China Sea.
