Prakash Loungani
Program Director, Sr. Lecturer
At Johns Hopkins, Prakash Loungani is the Program Director and a senior lecturer for the MS in Applied Economics program.
Prior to joining AAP, Loungani worked at the International Monetary Fund, where he was an assistant director, and in the Federal Reserve System, as well as at the University of Florida. He has extensive administrative experience, as well as teaching experience as an adjunct for Johns Hopkins University’s Advanced Academic Programs division, SAIS, and Carey Business School and is an active researcher and commentator who blogs as the Unassuming Economist.
Prakash holds a PhD in economics from the University of Rochester.
