Dr. Omer Ozbek has designed the curriculum for Project Management: Leading Projects to Successful Outcomes in the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program. He has taught graduate courses on Project Management, Leadership, Management Information Systems, Strategic Management, Organization Theory, Entrepreneurship, and Qualitative Research Methods. He has 15 years of management experience, particularly in non-profits, think tanks, and higher education institutions. He is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Agile Product Owner and big fan on agile project management. He has been involved with global project management with co-located and distributed teams and has experience in project management, consulting, and training. His research interests include evidence-based management, trust building in organizational settings, lean management practices, and servant leadership.

Dr. Ozbek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Sabanci University, Master of Industrial and Systems Engineering degree from Auburn University, and Doctor of Management degree from University Maryland University College. He has taught at University Maryland University College and Istanbul Zaim University.
