Nune Grigoryan
Program Coordinator, Sr. Lecturer
At Johns Hopkins, Nune Grigoryan is the Program Coordinator and a senior lecturer for the MA in Communication program.
Grigoryan joined Johns Hopkins from Cabrini University where she taught social media courses in the digital communication curriculum. She coordinated an online graduate certificate program in social media marketing and served as the advisor for the student-based social media agency.
Grigoryan’s research has appeared in academic journals such as the Journal of Media Ethics. She also published book chapters and presented at academic conferences throughout the United States. Grigoryan’s research focuses on the intersection of media and democracy with an emphasis on social media use for political communication.
Prior to academic career, Grigoryan worked in the nonprofit sector and was actively involved in the civil society development efforts in Armenia. In the United States, she continued to work on social justice issues, mainly on immigration advocacy.
