At Johns Hopkins, Kevin E. Cross is Program Director and a senior lecturer for the MS in Organizational Leadership program. Cross has taught both undergraduate- and graduate-level business and leadership courses at Johns Hopkins University, including the Art and Science of Decision-Making, Managerial Economics, Economics of Social Issues, Special Topics in Leadership (Innovation and Adaptive Leadership), Information Resources in the Social Sciences, Strategic Planning, Research Seminar, and Capstone.

Cross has spent the past 30 years working in leadership positions in the federal, private, nonprofit, and academic sectors, including as a research manager with the Business Leadership Forum at the Corporate Executive Board; development and strategic initiatives manager at the International Rescue Committee; product development and marketing coordinator at the Bureau of Transportation Statistics; and communications director at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies.

Cross received a Bachelor of Arts in writing and history from Loyola University Maryland, a Master of Arts in management from Notre Dame of Maryland University, and a Master of International Public Policy in southeast Asia studies/strategic studies from The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. He received a Doctor of Education degree in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California.
