Juliet Ray is the Director of Grant Services for the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University. In this capacity she works with faculty on proposal development, compliance and account management. She started her career as a teacher and spent 15 years in the public school system before moving into university research administration. Prior to coming to Baltimore, she worked for ten years supporting research and grant development as the Director of the Research Service Center for the College of Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). There she led an office providing “cradle to grave” research support including identifying funding opportunities, supporting proposal development and managing sponsored funding accounts. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and an M.A. in Counseling. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
