Jennifer Wright Dorr

At Johns Hopkins, Jennifer Wright Dorr is a lecturer for the MA in Communication program.
Dorr has two decades of hands-on leadership experience creating and executing communication campaigns in multi-media environments, including digital, web, video, social, and print.
She is currently the director of programs and services for the Healing Works Foundation, a nonprofit health foundation in the Washington, D.C., area. The foundation creates platforms, processes, programs, tools, and services to support insights and innovations in healing and whole-person care, principally in primary care and oncology.
She previously served in communications roles for nonprofit foundations, a science research organization, a member-benefits marketing firm, a law firm, and a small nonprofit adult college.
Dorr has co-authored publications, including those featured in the Journal of Oncology and has ghostwritten several book chapters for two books by major publishers.
Dorr earned an undergraduate degree in communication from Loyola University Maryland and a master’s degree in communication from Johns Hopkins University. She has been a certified Project Management Professional since 2016. She resides in the greater Washington, D.C., area with her family.
