Hannah Duggan is an Architectural Conservator at the consulting firm Building Conservation Associates (BCA). BCA specializes in both the technical and historical aspects of restoring buildings and works of art in the New York City area. Ms. Duggan has been a member of the technical staff since 2018. She works on the conservation of historic buildings with a focus on materials analysis of finishes. This includes conducting technical analysis of historic building materials and determining appropriate treatment strategies for many landmarked buildings. In addition to her work at BCA, Ms. Duggan has explored many aspects of conservation, including conservation science and preventative conservation. Ms. Duggan holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with a second major in Art History from Tufts University and a MRes in Science and Engineering of Art, Heritage, and Archeology from University College London.
