Program Coordinator, Sr. Lecturer
Emil Wang, JD, BS, is a food and drug attorney and program coordinator/senior lecturer in the MS in Regulatory Science program. Mr. Wang is the Chief Engineer of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, Rear Admiral, Assistant Surgeon General, and works at the FDA as a Senior Regulatory Counsel and Senior Advisor for Manufacturing and Regulatory Policy. His previous FDA experiences include Case Expert, Division Director, Branch Chief, Investigator, and Scientific Reviewer. He has also practiced food and drug law at a private law firm. At Johns Hopkins, he teaches Food and Drug Law, Medical Device and Combination Product Regulation, FDA Premarket Applications, and International Regulatory Affairs.
Mr. Wang received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.
