At Johns Hopkins, David Dunaetz serves as a lecturer in the MS in Organizational Leadership program. Dunaetz is a multidisciplinary professional with a career spanning academia, engineering, leadership, and consulting.

His research expertise bridges organizational behavior, leadership development, and statistical methodology, reflected in numerous peer-reviewed publications in respected journals such as the Leadership & Organization Development Journal and Psychology of Religion and Spirituality. He has authored several books, including Research Methods and Survey Applications.
He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Great Commission Research Journal and serves on the editorial boards of several academic publications. His work is widely recognized for its application to real-world organizational challenges, and his consulting engagements have supported institutions such as the World Bank, Cambridge University Press, and various international nonprofits.

Before transitioning into academia, Dunaetz started his career as an electrical engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company, where his work on satellite electronics and failure analysis contributed to advancements in aerospace technology. He also served as a pastor for 17 years in Paris, France.

As a thought leader, Dunaetz has leveraged modern digital platforms to promote education and leadership development. His YouTube channel, featuring content on leadership theory, organizational behavior, and research methods, has amassed millions of views and a global audience of over ten thousand subscribers. This platform underscores his passion to engage diverse audiences with innovative and accessible content.

In addition to his academic and digital endeavors, he is a sought-after consultant, specializing in conflict management, organizational strategy, and statistical analysis. His expertise has been instrumental in guiding organizations through complex challenges, fostering growth, and improving team dynamics across sectors.

Dunaetz earned his PhD in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, building on prior degrees in engineering and leadership fields, including an BSE (Harvey Mudd College), MSEE (University of Southern California), Magistère (University of Paris—La Sorbonne), MDiv (Denver Seminary), ThM (Fuller Theological Seminary), and MA (Claremont Graduate University).
