Bryan R. Gibson is an Assistant Professor of History at Hawai’i Pacific University and an Adjunct Professor in Global Security Studies at Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of Sold Out? U.S. Foreign Policy, Iraq, the Kurds, and the Cold War (New York, 2015), Covert Relationship: U.S. Foreign Policy, Intelligence and the Iran-Iraq War, 1980-1988 (Santa Barbara, CA, 2010), and co-edited with Professor Nigel Ashton, The Iran- Iraq War: New International Perspectives (London, 2012).
