Brian Hoover

At Johns Hopkins, Brian Hoover is a lecturer for the MS in Energy Policy and Climate program.
Hoover is marine ecologist who studies the behavior and spatial ecology of seabirds, particularly within the North Pacific ecosystem. Hoover goes to sea several times a year to pursue his research questions and spends most of his time on land behind a computer doing various analyses with the data. He also has an extensive teaching and mentorship background, including three years as a lecturer in discovery-based teaching units on scientific methodologies.
