Arjan Sidhu

Arjan Sidhu brings a wealth of knowledge toward financial acumen, policy decision-making, and scientific problem-solving from his professional and academic background. Arjan is a Development and Procurement Specialist at Intersect Power, a leading clean energy infrastructure developer in North America. He has been responsible for the siting, interconnection, power marketing, procurement, and project finance of 1.7 GWp of utility-scale solar photovoltaics.
Arjan is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge Energy Policy Research Group, conducting techno-economic analyses on electrical energy storage systems in the United Kingdom. Prior, Arjan was a Consultant at ICF International and at the Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office, specializing in distributed solar photovoltaic grid integration and advancing electric vehicle supply equipment adoption.
Arjan holds an M.S. in Energy Policy & Climate from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Business Administration and Energy and Resources from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He returns to his alma mater to teach the class on Solar Energy: Science, Technology, and Policy.
