Angela Wishon

Angela Wishon serves as the Vice President for Research Compliance and Administration at Prisma Health where she has oversight of the research regulatory compliance functions. Prior to joining Prisma Health, Angela served as the Vice President for Research Administration at UT Southwestern Medical Center, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Regulatory Compliance at UC Denver, and the Research Compliance Officer at UT Medical Branch in Galveston. As a licensed attorney in Texas and Colorado, she focuses on Intellectual Property and Regulatory Law.

Angela is active within the research administration and regulatory compliance profession for she currently serves as a Co-Editor for NCURA Magazine, a member of the Professional Development Committee for NCURA, and a site visitor for AAHRPP.  In past roles, she has been a member of NCURA’s Traveling Faculty and held the role as CTSA Regulatory Knowledge Core Director for two CTSA awarded institutions. Angela routinely presents on research compliance and regulatory topics at regional and national meetings.
