Andy is a freelance science writer based in Denver, Colorado. He currently contributes to The Scientist, pitches assignments, and writes for several websites covering topics ranging from new HIV research to weird strategies that organisms have evolved to overcome problems in nature. His work has appeared in Slate, Audubon, and Them.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University.
