Membership Options
Osher at JHU is a membership-based learning community in Baltimore, Columbia, and the Rockville, Maryland areas. Memberships are annual or by semester. Find details and the best option for you below.
Osher at JHU’s Intersession Membership Pass provides an opportunity to try out Osher at JHU classes before deciding to become a full, annual member at either the Baltimore-Columbia or Rockville locations.
The Intersession Membership Pass is $50 and is available in Winter (January-February) and Summer (May-August) annually.
Intersession members may enroll in any of the classes offered during Intersession, which are priced per course. They also have the opportunity to participate in trips, lectures, luncheons, and other Intersession programming.
Annual membership includes:
∙The opportunity to register for 12-week classes during each of two consecutive semesters.
∙Access to the university library system.
∙Use of school computer labs.
∙Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.
∙Field trips to cultural events.
∙Opportunity for membership in the Alumni Association and Hopkins Club.
JHU retirees and spouses may be eligible for tuition remission. Please complete the appropriate form below and submit to the Osher office with your registration form.

Osher at JHU’s Guest Membership Pass provides an opportunity to try out an Osher at JHU class before deciding to become a full, annual member at either the Baltimore-Columbia or Rockville locations. The Guest Membership Pass is $150 and is a one-time purchase.
Guest Members may enroll in one 12-week class or two six-week classes in a semester. Selected classes are offered as part of the Guest Membership. Guest members also have the opportunity to participate in trips, lectures, luncheons, and other Osher programs during their guest semester.
Each semester, a Guest Membership Registration form outlines the classes open to Guest Members. This information is available February 1st for the spring semester and August 1st for the fall semester on the Osher at JHU online registration site: for Baltimore-Columbia, and for Montgomery County locations.
Asbury Associate membership includes:
∙The opportunity to register for two designated 12-week Partnership Classes onsite at Asbury Methodist Village during one of two consecutive semesters.
∙Access to the university library system.
∙Field trips to cultural events.
∙Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.
