Membership Options
Osher at JHU is a membership-based learning community in Baltimore, Columbia, and the Rockville, Maryland areas. Memberships are annual or by semester. Find details and the best option for you below.
All of our summer classes will be taught via Zoom.
Summer courses are priced per course. Non-Osher members can join Osher during the summer by paying a one-time $50 membership fee and then registering for the classes they choose. Please enroll using the individual registration forms.
Annual membership includes:
∙ The opportunity to register for six 12-week classes during two consecutive semesters—Fall/Spring or Spring/Fall or the equivalent combination of 6- and 12-week classes. (Summer/Winter classes not included.)
∙ Physical Access to the university library system.
∙ Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.
∙ Field trips to cultural events.
JHU retirees and spouses may be eligible for tuition remission. Please complete the appropriate form below and submit it to the Osher office with your registration form.
Membership Dues
∙ Annual Individual: $600
In-person classes are located in Baltimore, Columbia, and Montgomery County. For additional information on Baltimore/Columbia locations, please contact the institute’s administrative office at 667-208-8693. For details regarding Montgomery County locations, call 301-294-7058. Either office can answer questions about classes offered online.

Fall 2022
Osher at JHU’s Semi-annual Membership includes:

∙ The opportunity to participate in trips, lectures, luncheons, and other Osher programs during the semester.
∙ Physical Access to the university library system.
∙ Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.

Semi-annual Membership Dues
∙ Annual Individual: $300

Associate Memberships
Asbury Associate membership includes:
∙ The opportunity to register for two designated 12-week Partnership Classes onsite at Asbury Methodist Village during one of two consecutive semesters.
∙ Access to the university library system.
∙ Field trips to cultural events.
∙ Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.
Membership Dues
∙ Asbury Residents: $125
∙ Non-residents: $150
Brightview membership includes:
∙ The opportunity to register for two designated 12-week Partnership classes onsite at Brightview during one semester (or an equivalent combination of 6- and 12-week courses).
∙ Access to the university library system.
∙ Field trips to cultural events.
∙ Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.
Membership Dues
∙ Asbury Residents: $125
∙ Non-residents: $150
Ingleside Associate membership includes:
∙ The opportunity to register for two designated 12-week Partnership Classes onsite at Ingleside at King Farm during one of two consecutive semesters.
∙ Access to the university library system.
∙ Field trips to cultural events.
∙ Preferred participation in university-sponsored events.

∙ Ingleside Residents: $125
∙ Non-residents: $150
Village at Rockville membership includes:
∙ The opportunity to register for two designated 12-week Partnership classes onsite at the Village at Rockville during one of two consecutive semesters.
∙ Access to the university library system.
