Applying to Graduate
As you near the completion of your curriculum, it is important to remember to apply to graduate.
You should apply for graduation and degree conferment at the beginning of the semester in which you will complete your degree requirements, whether or not you plan to attend the KSAS Master’s Ceremony. The Master’s Ceremony occurs once each year in late May, however, degrees are conferred each semester.

- Spring 2026: May 21, 2026
- Summer 2026: August 28, 2026

To apply for graduation, please follow these steps:
- Complete the online Application for Graduation in SIS.
Go to: Registration → Program of Study Info → Apply to Graduate. - There is a $100 graduation fee for which you will be automatically billed.
To manage your student billing online, visit sis.jhu.edu. - After completing the above form, Enrollment Services will e-mail to confirm receipt of your application.
Whether you applied to graduate in the summer, fall, or spring, you will be contacted during the spring semester to RSVP for the KSAS Master’s Ceremony with instructions on how to purchase your regalia.
