Currently a Non-Resident Senior Fellow in the Asia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, a think tank based in Philadelphia, Pa., Lee joined the CIA in 1997 as an analyst. He held key leadership positions as a member of the Senior Intelligence Service for 22 years, including as the Deputy Assistant Director of the Korea Mission Center and as Chief of the Korea Department.
