Graduation Ceremonies and Application
Application for GraduationIf you are planning to complete the requirements for your Master's Degree in Summer 2007, Fall 2007, or Spring 2008, please download the Application for Graduation. Fill out the form indicating the semester you intend to complete your program requirements and fax the form (if download version) to 202-452-1970. Students must submit their application for graduation prior to Feb. 1, 2008 to be included in the May 2008 graduation list. Students who submit their Application for Graduation will hear from Enrollment Services via e-mail to confirm receipt of their application. General information about Commencement will be mailed out in March from the Registrar with a response card for students to indicate if they are attending the University-wide ceremony and/or the Master's Degree ceremony. A follow up letter outlining further details for attendees will then be mailed out in April from Advanced Academic Programs for the Master's Degree ceremony, and in early May from the Registrar for the University-wide ceremony. The Johns Hopkins University confers degrees and awards diplomas once a year to all students who have completed requirements during the preceding spring, fall, or summer semesters. Graduating Master's Degree students in The Kreiger School of Arts and Sciences are invited to two ceremonies. Both ceremonies are held at the Homewood Field, Homewood Campus, in Baltimore . The University-wide commencement ceremony is held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. All Hopkins graduates are invited to attend. Cap and gown are required. For more information, visit: http://www.jhu.edu/commencement/ceremony The Master's Degree Ceremony for Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences is held at 10:00am on Friday, May 23, 2008. Cap and gown are required. This is the ceremony where you will be recognized on stage. A reception immediately follows.
