Thalia Mavros is a pioneering filmmaker, activist, and seasoned media executive. Formerly the first executive creative director at VICE (and the only woman), Thalia initiated some of the company’s most innovative ventures including Virtue, Motherboard, Noisey, Munchies, and i-D. She also led their award-winning joint venture with Intel, The Creators Project.

Seeking new challenges after leaving VICE, she founded The FRONT, a documentary production studio and creative think tank that brings storytelling from underrepresented perspectives to the forefront. Thalia’s vision for The FRONT is to create content that shifts perspectives, celebrates human connection, fosters a collective sense of wonder, and impacts real change. She is passionate and curious about the natural world and can be found diving among sharks when not in The FRONT’s Brooklyn offices.
