Dror Y. Kenett is a multidisciplinary financial economist, expert on financial networks, financial stability, and systemic risk. He currently works as an economist at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), in the Office of the Chief Economist. Prior to joining FINRA, Kenett held a researcher position at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Financial Research (OFR), worked as as a consultant at the World Bank and a visiting researcher at Boston University and the Israel Securities Authority (ISA). Kenett applies his scientific background to financial stability questions, focusing on network-based models, financial contagion and spillovers, and correlation-based models.

He has published more than 40 papers in financial, physics, and engineering journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Quantitative Finance, Nature Physics, and Scientific Reports. He has a PhD in Physics from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.
