Brandon Pecoraro is an economist for the Joint Committee on Taxation where he specializes in the macroeconomic modeling of tax policies proposed by members of the U.S. Congress. He earned his PhD in economics from Fordham University, writing his thesis on the political economy of voter preferences for redistribution. His research interests lie in the intersection of macroeconomics and public finance, with a particular emphasis on heterogeneous-agent general equilibrium modeling.
