Ai Deng

Dr. Ai Deng is a Principal at Charles River Associates, a global economic consulting firm. He is also an external expert for the Romanian National Council for Scientific Research and an editor Antitrust Source, a publication of the American Bar Association. He has over 15 years of experience in academic research and economic consulting, advising clients in some of the largest cartel and market manipulation cases in the past decade.

His research focuses on econometrics, predictive analytics, and the intersection between technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchains and antitrust.

He has published in leading academic journals, including Journal of Econometrics, Econometric Theory, Econometrics Journal, and Journal of Financial Econometrics, Journal of Competition Law & Economics, and Journal of Antitrust Enforcement. He has also served as a referee for a number of academic and professional journals. He earned his PhD in Economics at Boston University.
