Course and Credential Evaluation
If you earned your post-secondary degree(s) in a country other than the United States, your application will need to include a course-by-course credential evaluation, including your GPA, performed by an outside evaluation service. Evaluations are waived only if you received your undergraduate degree from a US institution, and the undergraduate coursework taken internationally was transferred to that institution. However, an official electronic transcript is still required from all US institutions attended.
Accepted Credential Evaluation Services
Please consider these approved credential evaluation services. Please do not send us any transcripts from your international institutions. The credential evaluation service will send us your transcripts along with their evaluation. We will not review your application until both are received.
World Education Services
World Education Services' course-by-course evaluations must be sent to AAP officially. WES evaluations are received electronically. Our institutional code is Johns Hopkins Advanced Academic Programs, 1717 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Suite 101, Washington DC 20036. Please make sure that when you are completing your order, you select “Johns Hopkins University – Advanced Academic Programs” as a recipient from the WES drop-down menu, which will allow us to receive the report electronically.
Educational Perspectives course-by-course evaluations must be sent to us officially. Our institutional code is Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs, Suite 101, 1717 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington DC 20036
Sending Any Official Transcripts from US Institutions
To expedite your application, please have electronic transcripts emailed directly to AAP Admissions from the granting institution. If your institution doesn’t provide electronic transcripts, you can request your official transcripts to be mailed directly to our Transcript Processing Center.
